Unique Student Identifier (USI)
A Unique Student Identifier (USI) is a personal reference number made up of ten letters and numbers. It’s free, easy to create, and stays with you throughout your lifetime.

If you are a new or continuing student enrolled in nationally recognised training in Australia, you’ll need a USI. Without it, you won’t be able to receive your statement of attainment, qualification, or certification.
